20180401 Weekly Update

A new month begins with the celebrations of life, colorful festivities and chocolate.  How much more encouragement can we ask for?

I hope everyone had a great Easter and nibbled on a few chocolate treats.  I took a little time off from the hectic schedule of tickling the ivories as the worlds within call for a way out.  Instead, I enjoyed a little time of reflection, a little web surfing and some entertainment to stimulate the senses and boggle the mind.  Thank you, Netflix! 😊

The Instagram I chose for the week is for this day.  I always hope the words and images I share are taken with good thoughts and leave a positive sense of well-being.

When setbacks cross our path, we find an opportunity for a fresh perspective, a new beginning and rebirth. May we move on from our yesterdays, enjoy our todays and always strive for better tomorrows. Onwards! +

This week’s fave post was a response to a common question asking for our latest and greatest accomplishments.  For some reason, traffic has been insane here in the old “shake’n’bake” state of Cali and when I wasn’t resisting the urge to wear a hazmat suit to work to counter all the outbreak monkeys roaming the halls, I was in the demolition derby of traffic the cray state is known for.  My reply to the greatest accomplishment was simple:  Not dying.  Take that, Death! 😊

On a personal note:  The next week will have two stressors for me, but I intend to meet them both.  First, I will complete and release the revision of book 2, Ripples of Mind, and second, I will complete and release my Vlog by Wednesday.  (Hump day has never been so appropriately named!)  This will then conclude with next week’s Monthly update which will (hopefully) have the accomplishments of this first quarter and the goals for the next.

We must all work hard to make our goals a reality and I hope on this day of new beginnings we can all strive for greater accomplishments.  Until next time.  Onwards!
